Decision has been made to remove Dipping Vat Removal from Agenda
TGR Residents & Property Owners
Members of the POA Board attended the Commissioners Court this morning to request
they delay the vote on Agenda Item #24 (Dipping Vat Closure). The Court opened with
Citizen Input, during which several Board, as well as multiple community, members
spoke regarding this agenda item and our desire to keep Dipping Vat open. After
listening to all our comments, the Commissioners expressed appreciation for us
attending and providing input. They made the decision to remove Agenda item #24 from
further consideration at this time.
Although we currently view this as a win for our community, the Commissioners,
primarily Ronnie White, were very open about where they are and our need as a
community to repair relationships with all county departments. The Board will be actively
working with the County to come up with solutions addressing the safety concerns
raised by the community about Dipping Vat. The Board will also be working with the
Commissioners regarding TGR’s roads and any possible measures to rectify ongoing
concerns.
We want to thank our community for their support and attendance yesterday at our
townhall, as well as any of you who sent notes to the Commissioners afterward. This
was a team effort that ended successfully for now. Should you have any questions
regarding this notice or wish to get further information, please reach out to the Board of
Directors at hoa.texasgrandranch@gmail.com.
Below are the links to yesterday’s townhall and this morning’s meeting if you would like
to listen to the community statements and commissioners’ comments.
