Check out our new 2024 Board members!
POAMembers,
Thank all of you for your questions, help, and patience in completing the election of the 2024 TGR POA Board. Each of your Board Representatives, IMC, and Legal Counsel has worked to ensure all State and POA rules have been followed. We have challenged each other to ensure we have a solid voting process. Even some property owners have written and called us with perspectives they wanted closely monitored and double-checked. Your Board, IMC, and Legal Counsel have double-checked the results and the process to meet the highest standard. Should any of you property owners have any additional questions, please reach out to me so we can make sure they are addressed. hoa.texasgrandranch@gmail.com

Frequently Asked Questions
Why are some candidates serving for 2 years and some for 1 year?
The top 4 candidates with the highest votes will serve 2 years; everyone else will serve 1 year. In 2022, the Developer changed the bylaws to this process. The goal is not to have the whole board open for election at the same time as this year. This will allow
smoother operation.
Did the Developer vote and exercise their 10 to 1 ability?
Only IMC and Legal Counsel know if the Developer casts any ballots. This information is not available to the Board. We all agreed when we bought our properties we agreed to
the CCRs that gave the Developer this right to vote on their properties.
What happened to the CCR change to remove the 10:1 votes of the Developer?
This is going to be a vote that will be sent in the near future to all property owners in an
effort to change the current Patten position that allows for the 10/1 vote and the
reprievement from owing dues for properties held.
Are a minimum number of votes required for the election to be valid?
This question has been carefully worked on. Article 2, Section 5 is confusing and has led some folks to believe a 33% quorum is needed. Legal Counsel has confirmed a quorum is only needed if a meeting for voting has occurred. With the voting being done outside of a meeting the votes cast online and with
proxies complete the election.
Can you share how many votes each candidate obtained in the process?
Only IMC, Legal Counsel, and the Board have access to the final number of votes cast and how they were distributed across candidates. It is the intention of the Board to not release this information since it is only needed to determine if the candidates served 1 or 2-year terms.
Can you share how many votes there were in total?
Only IMC, Legal Counsel, and the Board have access to the final number of votes cast and how they were distributed across candidates. It is the intention of the Board to not release this information since it is only needed to determine if the candidates served 1 or 2-year terms.
Who can see specifically who voted for whom?
Only IMC and Legal Counsel will have access to who voted for whom. This information will not be released beyond IMC and Legal Counsel. This information will not be released to the Board.
How can I obtain further information on the election?
